Potato Wedges
How To Make Potato Wedges
Potato wedges are an incredibly popular choice of snack as they go with many other foods, take the traditionally cooked steak for example. In my eyes there is nothing better than chowing down on a nice meat dish accompanied by some nice and spicy potato wedges which have been cooked to perfection. As 90% of the time, potato wedges are often fried, saturating them in unnecessary fat. This can make them calorie dense and quite bad for you. However, in this recipe aim to show you how to cook perfect potato wedges using one of the new low-fat electric friars.
Low-fat electric fryer’s make cooking dishes such as chips and wedges a cinch. I hope you enjoy this recipe!

Ingredients:
• 800 g of small potatoes left unpeeled
• 1/2 large tablespoons of dried mixed herbs
• 1/2 the large tablespoons or paprika
• 3 large tablespoons of light olive oil
• 2 large tablespoons of plain flour
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper (which is optional to your taste)
1. Take your potatoes and cut each one into four or six even sized wedges. How many you cut will depend solely on the size of the potato. Don’t forget to leave the skins on! Once finished rinse the potato wedges under a cold tap, drain them and then dry them thoroughly using a clean tea towel.
2. Once finished drying, place your potato wedges into a large bowl. Add the dried herbs and paprika along with the spoonfuls of oil and mix thoroughly until the potato wedges are well coated. Once completed add the flour and toss to coat.
3. Once your potato wedges are well coated, take and place them into your low-fat electric Fryer. Then drizzle the remaining oil evenly over the wedges. Cook your wedges for approximately 35 to 40 minutes or until they are cooked.
4. Once the cooking process is finished add seasoning to taste. Serve the potato wedges whilst hot with a variety of dips.
If you would like to add some variation to this you can use dried herbs de Provence or Italian herb seasoning in place of the dried mixed herbs.
Using low-fat fryer’s to cook meals is a popular choice for many families as it saves time and promotes healthy living. Low-fat electric friars are easy to use, easy to clean and above all safe!
